    Description

    Offered here is a vintage post war LALIQUE wine coaster in the very RARE "Sumatra" pattern, designed with '36" hobnails around the circumference. It measures 5 1/2" round and is in nearly flawless condition. I researched this piece for hours and the only thing I was able to find on it was a posting of another seller who had a broken piece, same design with three hobnails missing, or, cracked, and; believe it or not id sold. This is how I found out what it is and the pattern. Other than that, no place to be found. It is quite the looker on any table, especially with the holidays around the corner.
