Vitage Lalique Langeais Decanter

This is a frosted crystal decanter by Lalique,
France. It measures approximately 9 1/2" tall and 5" wide. The bottom is signed in script "Lalique France". It has a lovely, frosted ribbed design with an enclosed bubble stopper. We are selling this piece 'as is' because it does have some flaws. There is a small fleabite chip along the upper edge of the decanter (shown in pictures 2 & 3). This chip is less than 1/8" wide and could probably be repaired fairly easily if the lip were ground very minimally. The bottle has been used and has some residue on the interior which we have not attempted to clean, only visible from the underside (picture 5). Finally, the stopper is a fully sealed solid piece of crystal, but it appears to have had some moisture inside when it was created- that has caused some dots on the inside of the bubble... like a mold that is impossible to clean because it is sealed within (pictures 7&8). Having sold on eBay for many years, we understand that honesty and fair descriptions are the only way to do business. That is why we try our very best to describe our items as accurately as possible. This is nonetheless a rare and beautiful piece of vintage bar-ware and would make for a wonderful addition to any collection.
