Vintage Lalique CHAT ASSIS Frosted Crystal Sitting Cat Figure

This listing is for a lovely large vintage Lalique frosted crystal cat sculpture CHAT ASSIS (sitting cat). This sculptures was originally created with a coordinated crouching cat sculpture by Rene Lalique in 1932 and the two figures have been so popular they have continued to be produced in different periods to the present day. Originally they were sold separately but they definitely make a statement when displayed together. Figure is marked with engraved in script on the base "Lalique, France". The vintage production from the 197's-80's have more distinct features in the molds than newer versions with the current issues appearing to have a whiter surface to the glass. Current retail for this cat figure is 25.00.
Measures 8 1/4" high, 3 3/4" wide and 6 1/2" long.
Weighs 7.8 pounds.
This fabulous cat sculpture is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
