Description

Great find.  Helping clean out an estate and have some great vintage records, jewelry, costume jewelry, gold and silver (Ethiopian sterling?) and also some vintage Ethiopian Airlines items, as well as handmade African baskets and some beautiful, hard to find books.  A few professional outfits, suits and shoes as well.  Check my other items this week for those!  I will gladly combine shipping.  Please be aware that I do not know the history regarding most of these items, other than the grandfather was a pilot for Ethiopian Airlines.  Some items are clearly older than others.  View all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description.
Great vintage basket. This is handmade and is 14" diameter.  Measures 4" tall without the lid, and approx. 8" tall with the lid.  The leather on the outside does have some wear and is very dry, not sure if it can be treated and brought back to life or not.  The strap to hang is broken as well.  There are some loose spots in the stitching and some discoloration/fade and dirt.  All consistent with age in my opinion.  Basket still tightly coiled.  I do have two other baskets listed, so please be sure to check my other items.  Please view all photos as they reconsidered part of the description.
