RARE LALIQUE "DEUX A DEUX" DAISY FLOWER CRYSTAL GLASS BIG BOX CIRCA 1938
This an authentic signed R. Lalique "DEUX A DEUX" circa 1938. Reference book: "R. Lalique L'oeuvre De Verre" by Felix Marcilhac, model 101. See last photo.
This is a beautiful very nice size box "DEUX A DEUX" by Lalique. It measures approximately 17cm (6.69 inches) in diameter and 3 inches tall with the lid on. There a two minor chips to the lower bowl, see photos 7 and 8 for details. The Lalique marking is at the bottom. Even with the two chips, it is still a very beautiful piece and
I do believe this is a rare and hard to find piece. According to the R. Lalique book, this piece was first introduced on Aril 18, 1929 and has not been in production since 1947 (roughly after World War II ended and Rene Lalique's death in 1945).
