Up for sale is a sealed 24 pack booster box of the One Piece Card game from the second set: Passage to the Grand Line printed in 2006 with a Gold Rare Guarantee. The Gold Rare cards pictured on the front are all five in this set and they are ridiculously hard to come by. My nephew hand selected this box, and he has been so helpful pulling Gold Rares when we open packs together that I am betting on him continuing to be right.
If you purchase this and livestream the opening on youtube and mention and link me as an eBay seller and don't get a Gold Rare card, I will send you a Gold Rare card that I have the most of free of charge. I think that is good way to advertise for me too since I've wanted to do a live opening but haven't made the time to figure out what technology upgrades I need and how to do it well. I think this will be a Good Rare baring box. We have seen 2 Gold Rares in a 24 pack bundle once and that was insane! Me and other customers have also seen stretches of 7 straight booster boxes with ZERO Gold Rares. 😵 Take up my challenge if you dare and best of luck!
The second pic is an example of an open box. You get a factory sealed box with purchase. The box is plain and white from Bandai. Sadly they never made one with One Piece artwork as this was the shortest print run of almost any ccg in history lasting barely a month in 2006.
The Passage to the Grand Line Set features five Gold Rare and 8 Silver Rare cards. Luffy and the Strawhat Pirates are stronger. Strong Men like Dorry, Brogy, Trace, and Dr. Kureha are among the best and most rare cards. Also featured is Sir Crocodile, his Baroque Works, Ms. Sunday/Nico Robin, Vivi, Wapol, Dalton, Battler, Laboon, and Garp!
The card game plays really well with One Piece Captains and up to two comrades battling. The game was popular with ten plus sets in other countries and One Piece continues to be a fan favorite manga and anime series.
Each packs comes with 9 cards: 1 rare, 3 uncommon, 5 common, and 1 Holo. Gold Rare cards come approximately 1 in every 48 packs. Silver Rare cards come approximately 1 in every 12 packs.
Even if you don't play the game, the cards are neat from a collector standpoint with art from the anime.
