    FOLIAGE VASE, SIGNED
    The wonderful path of Maple tress along the Champs-Elyses inspired the finely veined crystal leaves of the vase. Through this design, the spirit of Paris in winter has been captured by the design.
    This iconic leaf was created in 1951 by Marc Lalique for the Champs-Elyses bowl. More than 60 years later, the leaf is reinterpreted more graphically for the Foliage vase. the tapered shape of the vase makes it ideal to hold a bouquet of flowers, yet the finely detailed design is striking on its own. the vase is created using the press technique. To create the finely detailed leaves, the vase is refined during through the cold process.
