Vintage 13in Hermann Teddy Bear Ivory Mohair Embroidered Claws
Melissa, a vintage Hermann Teddy bear, is covered with ivory mohair.  This fully jointed bear has black plastic eyes, an embroidered nose, mouth, and claws and wears an embroidered ribbon bow.  She stands 13 inches (33cm) tall and is identified by the characteristic Hermann bear rear neck hump.  A white arm tag is printed, "Hermann-Teddy-Original, Made in West Germany".
This bear was made to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Helen Sieverling Hermann Teddy bear.  It was made in Sonneberg, Germany in 1986.  The bear comes with a signed Helen Sieverling tag and 75th Anniversary tag.
A special feature of this bear are the felt paw pads with embroidered claws.  One claw on the left foot is loose.  See photos.
This bear is in excellent condition from a smoke free home.
