THIS LISTING IS FOR A GORGEOUS LALIQUE "TETE DE LION" ASHTRAY. THE DESIGN FEATURES A DETAILED LION'S HEAD WITH FLOWING MANE OF FROSTED GLASS THAT REACHES ACROSS THE UPPER PORTION OF THE TRAY. THIS ATTRACTIVE ASHTRAY PIECE DATES FROM THE 1970's AND IS SIGNED IN SCRIPT "LALIQUE FRANCE". THIS DESIGN INCLUDED A MATCHING CIGARETTE LIGHTER AND CIGARETTE CUP THAT WERE SOLD SEPARATELY BUT ARE ALL READILY AVAILABLE SHOULD YOU DESIRE TO HAVE THE COMPLETE SET. LAST RETAIL PRICE ON THIS ASHTRAY WAS 5.00.
MEASURES 1 1/2" TALL WITH A 5 3/4" DIAMETER TOP.
THE ASHTRAY IS IN EXCELLENT ESTATE CONDITION WITH NO NOTED FLAWS OTHER THAN SOME MINOR SURFACE SCRATCHES ON THE BASE AS EXPECTED FROM NORMAL WEAR.
