Lalique Frosted Crystal BISON Buffalo Paperweight Figure - Retired

This listing is for an attractive vintage Lalique Crystal BISON or Buffalo figural paperweight, #1196. The bison has a frosted body with detailed texture on head and upper body. Figure is mounted onto a clear crystal platform base with bevel cut edges. Marked with the etched signature "Lalique, France" on bottom of base. This figure was originally made by Rene Lalique and was issued in 1931. At some time the design was retired and the figure was reissued by Lalique in 1945 and retired again in 1978.
Measures 3 3/4" high and 4 3/4" long with the platform base measuring 1" high, 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. Weighs 1.11 pounds.
This nice bison paperweight is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
