Lalique France PIRIAC Fish Oval Serving Platter/Dinner Plate in VERY GOOD, lightly used pre owned condition!!
The piece has NO CRACKS or REPAIRS! While there are no LARGE chips, the piece has a small handful of nicks/very small chips on some of the edges. The photos with the blue arrows give you an idea of what these look like and how minor they generally are. They mostly blend right in with the cuts of the fish and are easily overlooked. There are some light scratches on the plate which all show upon close inspection of photos. You can see for yourself the light degree of wear which would be commensurate of a piece this age.
I still rate this piece as acceptable for presentation considering how small the flaws are combined with the fact of being a truly extraordinary piece of glass! The fine detail and sheer quality unreproducable by others make it of the most coveted pieces of crystal on the planet.
Make a statement as a dinner plate fit for a king, or serve the table fish on it. The piece would also make a lovely underplate to a compote or statue of compatible design style. No matter how you display or use it, you will appreciate the natural beauty of the fish and crystal any day of the year.
