This is a Lalique Sandrift Fine Crystal Vase
The upper portion is solid clear crystal. The rest is a beautiful abstract design in relief that looks like drifting sand or petals, with a frosted satin finish.
Beautifully crafted in frosted and clear crystal, this heavy vase is in MINT condition.
It is being sold from an estate collection.

Rene Lalique, who died in 1945 is famous for beautiful glass which he made from the 1890's to 1940. With amazing technical virtuosity, taste for innovation and experimentation, he created masterpieces in his own original style. Inspired by nature, his glass works were made in pale, clear crystal glass, featuring dream-like subjects and sensuous female figures, recurrent motifs such as birds, butterflies, horses and lions or mythical animals, foliage or floral shapes. By 1914, Lalique created a wide range of beautiful glasswork, such as vases, desk or toilet accessories. Rene Lalique produced these wonderful objects in an Art Nouveau and later in Art Deco style. The Rene Lalique glassware firm still remains successful today producing designs inspired by nature.
