Lalique, Eight Crystal, Guebwiller Design, Champagne/Sherbet Glasses, Circa 1954

Description

This is a set of eight, exquisite, Lalique Crystal, Guebwiller design, Champagne/Sherbet glasses.  My parents purchased these glasses in 1954 as part of their wedding set.  As most children of the depression, they purchased the glasses and then rarely used them during their 60+-year marriage.The glasses are in excellent condition, with no chips, dimples, or other infirmities that I can see. Each glass has, of course, the famous Guebwiller braided stem.  Seven glasses are 4 15/16" (12.5 cm) in height and 3 7/8" (10 cm) in diameter across the top.  For some reason, one glass is 4 13/16" (12.3 cm) in height.  Each has the etched "Lalique France" designation on the bottom under the stem.It is very rare to find such a large number of glasses together, and I wish to sell them as a complete set.I am also selling a set of 10 water glasses under a separate listing.
