LALIQUE SIGNED DEER BICHES VASE
Renee Lalique (1860-1945) was famous for his lovely crystals and the use of plants animals and human forms in his designs.
Up for auction is this beautiful

This lovely Lalique Vase is absolutely stunning  with exquisite designs in bas relief. The rim is clear crystal and the  decorations are  frosted.
It is a  large vase, it is 6 11/16" tall.  It has a rim of clear crystal
of about 3/8", and the frosted part is 6 5/16".  It has a  3 15/16"  diameter at the top, and the base is about 2 15/6" in diameter.
The crystal has a very delicate design, and well refracts light going though it.  The design around the vase is a landscape composition of 14 deers (biches in French) that range in sizes from 3" tall (at the
base) to 1 1/2" at the top.  These lovely deers are in various positions enjoying a walk through the forest ferns, leaves and flowers.

Lalique acid stamp signature at the base:

he base does have some light scratches which adds
character to its age.
