. Powder Jar was issued by the Lalique Society of America in 1989. Produced by Lalique Crystal located in France.
Lalique Crystal of France produced a frosted crystal replica of a 1918 Degas Powder Jar for release as a commemorative for the Lalique Society of America in 1989.
Jar was modeled after a Parisian Ballet Dancer, inspired by the art of Edgar Degas (1934-1917), on the theme of dancers. The jar’s lid is slightly peaked with a dancer’s upper body positioned in the center and her dress covering the remaining portions of the lid.
