    Fantastic Lalique 'Phoenix' Indian Chief's Head Crystal Paperweight (Presse Papiers)in original foam-lined box with care instructions and Code on tag 1188400 and now retired.
    The heavy paperweight is reminiscent of the famous Victoire car mascot sculpture from the 1930s. It is beautifully detailed with a full angular feather headdress and opaque base.it is sometimes mistaken for the Victorie. The strong features of the face are expertly sculpted with heavy brows, high cheekbones and aquiline nose. Above all, it is extremely tactile.
