This listing is for an impressive heavy Lalique AMBER ROSE vase in clear glass with frosted amber/topaz colored rose in high relief on the front. The vase has a slight rectangular shape and would also make a nice champagne cooler. Marked with the "Lalique, France" etched signature with an original Lalique hand written paper identification with style "12294" on base.
This vase was produced during the 1960's and the design is currently retired. Last known retail was 50.00.

developed an innovative injection technique to incorporate color into a single piece of clear crystal. The process placed the frosted topaz rose on the crystal vase by pressing the glass rose into the mold and then blowing in the colorless clear crystal. This was a complicated process which is
exclusive to Lalique creations.
Measures 8 1/2" high, 6 1/4" wide and 5" deep. Weighs 9.4 pounds.
This nice vase is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. There are four felt pads on the bottom to protect the base from surface scratches that can be easily removed if desired.
