    Athletic and manly, this nude masculine in satin-polished crystal appears to be carved from a block of marble. The quality of the force and power expressed by the athlete highlights the extraordinary ability of Lalique's master glassmakers to put their traditional know-how at the service of creation and emotion.
    Measures 7" w x 6 ¾" d x 10" h.
    Lalique wanted to express the beauty of the male nude figure running,  in the spirit of the Greeks, by showing their courage and wisdom.

    Add timeless object of art to any space with this Athlete sculpture from Lalique. In the shape of a running man, this sculpture is inspired by the male forms seen in ancient Greek art. Clear with a satin finish, it has been expertly hand crafted by skilled artisans at the Lalique studio in Alsace, France. Made using historic techniques, each step of the manufacturing process has been carried out by hand and there are more exquisitely crafted designs available from the leading crystal makers
    The "Athlete" sculpture was first introduced to the Lalique range in 2017, and is one of very few sculptures of a male body to have been produced by Lalique. The sculpture measures approximately 25 cm (10") tall by 17 cm (6.7") wide. Brand new and boxed.
